Calling all Hobbits.

The two Towers, a different viewpoint.

Had the Gaffer back up to the "metrolopse", for an oil-change, or summat.

20 min appointment = 1/2 to 3/4hr up the M6 + 10mins to hosp + 30 min wait + 20mins we went for + down to pharmacy 20min wait etc. Not sure where the time vanished to, but the 15:15 appointment kept us there until about 17:30. Doesn't really tickle the Blip muscle.

'Twas on the way home at a set of traffic lights I spotted a sturdy, dumpy tower of Carlisle castle on the left and the Fire Station Drill Tower on the right, peeping coyly over the top of the Police Station, which has now robbed the Fire Service of half its upper floor when "Div HQ" emigrated to the "burbs".

I'll bet there aren't many drill towers ought to be "Listed Buildings". Personally I listed it as a Damnuisance.
