Thistle

A walk along Eccup Moor road where the hedges and verges are full of growth. Is this a plume thistle?

Kites gathered and swooped overhead as a tractor cut a crop in a field (extra). A yellowhammer sung, and was spotted. A couple of butterflies showed up but they were too quick for me.

Pleasantly warm with cloud cover and the odd chance of spotty rain.
