A Good Hand

Mono Monday, so I walked down to the church this afternoon with the intention of getting a 4pm shot of the clock, with the weather vane above showing the four points of the compass. I was late setting off and heard the bells on the way. I also just missed 4 minutes past 4. I got a shot at 5 minutes past, but it all looked a bit drab. 

So it was back home to do my original idea of a hand of cards. Not so original as I have done something similar before. I was intending to do a more elaborate composition, but, as is often the case, this was my first attempt and nothing else was any better.

A quiet day anyway, getting some rest after a busy weekend.
