Icelandic poppies

Having been away for a couple of weeks with my mum, it’s been a real joy rediscovering my garden again. These poppies have been blooming for weeks but are really at their peak now. I love the scabious next to them too, the colour combination is so pleasing to my eye.
Today started off a bit grim and grey but is now warm and sunny. Just as summer should be!
