European Garden Spider

Some shopping, housework and laundry today before welcoming home my husband from his games weekend this afternoon. I’ve missed him, but he seems to have had a good time playing games. 

Yet another garden blip I’m afraid. Was hoping for something a bit different but there wasn’t much about. This tiny little spider is quite common but will grow up to 15mm across apparently. It was about 3mm at the moment I guess.
