Home again...

And the cats were very happy to see us! We had a team of cat sitters here to look after them, but Luna & Lightning let us know it wasn't the same... they rubbed our legs and generally demanded our attention! 

Luna did agree to do a photo shoot but only if I agreed to toss her favorite crinkly ball around a bit. She's 9 years old, a rescue who looks like she's at least part Russian Blue. 

Our cat Lightning is 10, also a rescue and a very regal tabby! See the extra photo. We had a wonderful time away, both in Canada and seeing our grandchildren, but we're tired and happy to be home after a month! I do hope to visit your blip journals and catch up with you over the next few days. Thanks for your visits & comments, stars & hearts while I was otherwise engaged.
