County Office Building 3 is pretty much complete.  I had some time to kill today so I walked through the plaza that connects it to the courthouse and other municipal buildings.  From this corner I like the plantings and seating areas; all of this is a massive improvement on what was here before, really dreary and ugly buildings.  However, the main plaza is blinding (see extra) and I'm not sure why there aren't more trees, I literally could not see.  C'mon, Redwood City: Climate Best By Government Test is the city's motto and all that, surely a bit more shade could've been planned?  Or perhaps there is something more to come - sure hope those trees are fast growing.
