We spent most of the day on garden maintenance, and giving the shack a makeover. Very satisfying, a bit too hot at times. 

Biden’s decision to stand down as presidential candidate and give way to Kamala Harris was seismic but not unexpected. It’s been an eventful month in politics globally.
