It took a couple of days to dawn on me…
I noticed these patches on manhole covers in Quay Street one wet day last week. I thought it best to avoid walking on the covers because the patches didn’t look that strong and I didn’t want the cover to move and that’s me down the drain!
And then it dawned on me that these were security tags put on the covers after the voids underneath had been inspected for bombs prior to the Royal visit. And sure enough they all have their unique serial numbers.
Sometimes it’s good to look down instead of up…
And the tags are tiny but part of something big so ideal for Tiny Tuesday.
