Invasive

When I cleared the weeds yesterday, I noticed a lot of spotted lanternflies in various stages of life. I removed numerous plants they were living on, but there are plenty of them on a thin tree I don't want to cut down.

You can see three stages of the lanternfly in this photo. The one on the right that is black with white spots is the youngest, the red nymphs are next, and the adult with wings is in front. They are invasive, so I killed as many as I could. I know it won't make a difference, but maybe I can keep them from taking over the yard a bit longer.
