Anthers, stamen and stigma

The anthers, stamen and trilobed stigma are tiny parts of the river lily which is having its second bloom for the season. It's a treat to see, large or small, whole or part.

Today was full of surprises. First an impromptu visit from the little family. I'm glad I had enough to feed them for lunch. Then mum J very kindly drove me to an appointment which turned out to be tomorrow. Who's a klutz? Then they called around again fot dinner. It had to be a takeaway.
