British Gas

Routine bloods tests this morning for my husband, they are currently now taken on Tuesdays, but this will soon change to Wednesdays.

The person to service the boiler was due to arrive between 10am and 2pm; two people arrived at 2.05pm and left at 3.30pm. They have completed the boiler service, but there is a major fault on the boiler, so a part has to be collected. They will collect the part in the morning and fixed it in the morning, at a cost of £60. We have mentioned this fault in the past, but have been told it is not a problem.

I walked to the village to post a card to my granddaughter and her husband; it is their two-year anniversary on Sunday. The post from our local box goes at 9am and I do not like leaving post in the postbox near the railway station overnight. Although it has not happened for a while, some time ago vandals were setting fire to postboxes in the village. On arriving at the postbox in the village, that goes at 9am too, so nothing gained.

Today’s picture is of the two gas vans, just to remind me when the service was completed.

The temperature at noon today was twenty-one degrees Celsius. It has rained for some of the day.

Happy birthday NG, wherever you are.
