Apple Pie

At Bunratty Castle, County Clare, specifically in the traditional Irish village within the castle grounds, they make their own apple pie and in the old way. It was fun to watch but way too warm to think of eating. Warm -- correction: HOT -- day today. I had originally intended to go to Adare Village but had heard from quite a number of locals that Bunratty was a lot more interesting to see, so Bunratty it was. No regrets. Even managed to nap and hubby managed, somehow, to hurt himself in the bushes (complete with blood!). Small but important point -- we seem to have regained some, repeat -- some, of our appetite today.

Thankful that we have had such an interesting trip so far!
