Flowers by the canal

I did some gardening this morning then this afternoon went for a walk along the canal at Lower Frankton.

There were more varieties of butterfly than I've been seeing this summer (small tortoishell, small skipper, green veined white and ringlet).  Also dragonflies, damselflies and demoiselles.  I had planned on blipping one of these insects but I liked this one of a mix of wild flowers growing by the canal.
