Porthkerry Viaduct
We had a nice couple of hours today at Porthkerry Park on the outskirts of Barry. It is a huge country park, and the grandchildren love it. They love playing football, but I can't keep up with them anymore! This is the viaduct which runs through the park. Opened in 1900, it was used to carry coal to Barry Docks. That's long finished, but it is still used as you can see in the extra with the train crossing over.
