The Flock Has Descended

The first thing I did this morning was taken a couple of pictures of a weed wildflower in the drive (before I started weeding).

Later I made some more birds and mounted them on the piece of Ivy that has been lying about for ages .... not suitable for turning but too nice to throw out. The birds are made of a selection of woods.

This afternoon it was a trip over to Mid Lothian Village Hospital for the fortnightly dietary group that SWMBO is on (I am not convinced she will continue going as there is nothing in it that she doesn't know and she is doing everything right).
After a while I went for a walk to ease my back - and found the hospitals garden/allotment/relaxation area. It is beautiful. I wish  had found it before.
