Lotus Gardens

Suzanne heard that the lotuses are still in bloom in the aquatic gardens approximately 30 minutes from our homes so it was the logical place to go this morning.  It was true, the blooms were beautiful, but we spent just as much time with the birds.  It was a treat to have this Yellow-crowned Night Heron go about its business just a few feet from us. I've included an extra of the heron in its environment.
