WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Poor Bee

I felt guilty today after repotting some courgette and cucumber plants.
When I tipped the contents of one pot onto the soil a bee flew by carrying a leaf. I saw lots of perfectly shaped pieces of leaf in the compost I’d tipped out. I’d never seen this before but Leaf Cutter Bee immediately came to mind and that is indeed what it was.
I had ruined is nest, I felt awful. The bee kept coming back to try and find
its burrow. I tried putting the leaves back in the compost but it was no good.
I did a few other jobs in the garden then did a bit of drawing.
Frank had gone to the boat to turn it round for Eddie the signwriter to paint.
He’s already done one side. This is to get her ready to sell.
Frank has been feeling a bit better the last couple of days but we still don’t know if there is cancer in the liver. We won’t find out for another week when Frank has his appointment.
We are going up to Sabrina’s tomorrow for a few days. We’re looking forward to seeing their new house and it will be good to get away and especially to see the girls. I will also stay one night at Melanie’s and I’ll meet up with Marc on one day.
Book and bedtime now, so goodnight and thanks for the comments, stars and hearts :-)X
