Great Asby Scar

We had a delightful walk today, up to the Great Asby Scar NNR.
He weather was perfect with a nice breeze and really warm. We saw a few dark green fritillaries, and a flock of around 100 golden plover.
The limestone pavement is wonderful up there and the light today was perfect for showing up the limestone clints and grikes.
Bonnie really enjoyed herself too, including finding a pile of badger poo to roll in!
We had an ice cream in Orton on the way home, before putting Bonnie straight in the bath, she really did stink!!
