Glimpse

I visited the town's High Street today. 

A sobering experience. As with most town centres in this part of the world, the neglect and impoverishment are thoroughly depressing. 

I did my bit and spent some money in the bookshop - a bookseller chain outlet rather than an independent, but we do not have any of the latter. I am looking forward to a glimpse into both my purchases as soon as I finish on here. 

On the subject of glimpses, how many High Streets provide a glimpse of the sea as you meander along from shop to shop? Mine does. My Blip does. 

The mighty Queen's Park are playing Elgin City in Glasgow this evening. I am not there. I am here. 

Am I becoming sensible as the decades tick by?
