Final

Stalker’s final day. She closed the EC for the last time before the summer break and then we had the leaving ‘do’. Nothing like the dos’ we’ve had in the past but I hope she enjoyed it. Several of the team came in specially and even the CEO made an appearance. 
I, however failed magnificently! Of course the team had a collection and I was the one to order the gift. It was supposed to arrive yesterday, but did not! So, the team could not present it. I had hoped it would have arrived today, but no such luck, the post here is dreadful. I’m hoping for tomorrow morning, because Stalker is coming down and we are going out to lunch. A small gesture, not to say goodbye, because she is a friend as well as a colleague and although she won’t be working alongside me, I know we will still see each other.
