Hot!

Today has been boiling! I got in the car earlier and the thermometer showed the temperature as 36 degrees!!
It went down to chilly 31 degrees as soon as I started driving!!
Mr K got back from Mumbai this morning. It seemed like he was gone forever this time.....
We got the paddling pool out of the shed for the Little Misses to have a splashabout. It's been months since we've had it out and suddenly it's titchy and useless for them!
I will have to try and get a bigger one but something tells me that might be easier said than done at the moment!
They had hours of fun though - filling it up, chasing bubbles, splashing each other and making water features with almost every piece of tuppaware we own!
While they were having fun I had a nice lie down under the apple tree looking at the leaves. Very relaxing!
And then I took myself off to Lakeland and Ikea for some things we need.
And to Fat Face and John Lewis for some things we don't!
Bargain in Fat Face - there was a set of bracelets very similar to the ones I wear all the time. They had no price so I asked the girl. She looked vaguely around, went off and vaguely waved them around a bit and then came back to say "um, er, there's no price. They'd be, um, er, shall we say £3.50?"
Yes let's!!
The single ones were priced at £4 and £6 and I'm pretty sure I paid about £14 for the first lot.
I couldn't give her the money quickly enough!!
It was so good to have a few hours to myself. It's been sadly lacking lately and probably what turns me into the self-pitying fruit loop that I've been for the last few days!
Mr K just went to Tescos to get stuff for fajitas. He came back with everything except wraps. Numpty!
Chicken and pepper kebabs anyone?!
