Eurythmics - Here Comes The Rain Again

It was a really hot day. Spent an hour and some change exercising, did the laundry, some shopping, collected some stuff from City Hall, got my credit card fixed and sweated about a bucket or two. By evening’s arrival, the clouds and breeze came also. The rain washed the strains of heat away. The fragrance of relief rose from the sizzles of the raindrops tapping on the concrete.

The drops fizzle away instantly, forcing double takes, and just before the onslaught of water, the fusion of heat and cool is at a delicate balance. These few moments of change are beautiful, it’s what the weather DJ does best.
