Not Portobello Beach
A valedictory portrait at the end of a lovely week of looking after this little person while his mummy and daddy got on with their busy professional lives.
We took our leave at 1030 and were hone just over six hours later having traded temperatures of 31 degrees for a much more manageable 20 degrees back home here in Joppa.
The only minor delay we encountered on our way hone by the east coast was a large outdoor media artic truck wending its way to the golf gathering in East Lothian. It must be one of the final pieces to be placed ahead of next week's British Open.
Approaching Dunbar I was intrigued to see signs telling golf bound drivers ( pun unintended!) to switch off sat navs. and follow local signs. . I wonder how many will actually do that! I hope the weather holds fair for this big event on our doorstep.
