Sandvika Badestrand (= Beach)...

...on the Longöya belonging the island group Vesterålen. In fact, we were not aware that we left Lofoten during the day, the beautiful landscapes are of the same type on the Vesterålen islands than on the Lofoten islands!

We enjoyed beach life during the afternoon, it is quite hot here - 26 C this day (instead of normal 15-16 C in July)!

Edit with more information: The main blip - when hiking on the mountain above the beach, in the evening, we were lucky to see an enormous sea eagle leave the mountain, flying in front of us on a low level. The distance between it and us was appr. 20-25 m!!! A total surprise, hiking poles in my hands, the mobile and the camera in my trouser pockets... However, happy for the experience to see this huge bird so close to us!
