Not a damsel in distress

In fact I have no idea what this is - possibly some sort of crane fly?

Anyway, flushed with success after yesterday's blip - and my grateful thanks go to all those of you who were kind enough to pay it compliments and shower stars and the odd heart - I went in search of something different but only managed to come back with this blip and one of a dead mole.

I decided that uploading a dead mole was hardly in the interests of keeping up morale - and this is more colourful.
