Monster Birthday Cake

This cake drew many gasps (of delight!), and when it was cut and served, was a heavenly dream! Moist enough, sweet enough, death-by-chocolate-properties, it was very special, and the Chef was awarded full marks!

The occasion was the celebration of a special kind: triplets who will turn 50 towards the end of the year. It will not be possible (then) for another get-together closer to the birthdate, so full use was made to celebrate  and enjoy this happening. 

It was good.
