Dolphin
Sunday
Such a lovely morning so we decided to go down to the Point for a walk with the hope of seeing dolphins before it got too busy.
We parked ok ,£3 now for two hours ! Had a walk round to the point where it was quite blowy. Managed to get a good viewpoint. Just a couple of dolphins around. This one had managed to catch a large salmon which it seemed to enjoy once it had got it in the right position.
We saw one dolphin bow riding a sailing boat that sailed past.
There were plenty of sparrows and starlings eating the grass seeds.
In the evening we watched the film ‘Young woman and the sea ‘ about the first women to swim the English Channel, Gertrude ‘ Trudy’ Ederle . Only five men had swam the channel before her and she beat the record by 2 hours.
A friend of mine from Hemels brother has just swam the channel himself in less than 14 hours. An incredible achievement
