The first gazania

I love gazanias, especially the stripey variegated ones. I sowed my seeds rather late, so have only recently potted the young plants into three planters which are standing at the corner of the patio. They have lots of buds, but this is the first flower to open fully, and is beautifully rich and vibrant. I'm hoping many more will follow, and perhaps the plants will grow and fill out a bit more as they settle into life beyond their little modules.
