A dull blue tit on a dull day

We have more blue tits visiting the bird feeder than normal at the moment, which is lovely. I think there must be a successful brood sticking around. This one would be better named a grey tit than a blue tit as it has yet to get it’s bright blue cap and tail feathers. After a beautiful sunny, summer’s day yesterday, we are back to cooler temperatures and spells of rain.
