Flowers for a funeral.

The University of York is one of the very successful new universities set up in England in the 1960s. Its large campus is well known for its lakes with ducks and water lilies.

We were there today for the funeral of its former Registrar, our longstanding friend David Foster.
The funeral was held in the Church situated on the campus and followed by a reception in the University social building. The high regard in which David was held was shown by the fact that well over 200 people were in the Church.
