Potato field

The potato fields are blooming and my thoughts go to starving Gaza. 
The potato has been one of the most important food plants in Norway over the past 250 years and saved us through famine, contributed to population growth and made development in society possible. It revolutionised Norway and our history. 

Over 60 percent of Gaza's farmland, crucial for feeding the starving population, has been damaged or destroyed by the war. The agriculture products in Gaza are strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants and sweet pepper and others. The destruction of irrigation systems, greenhouses and so on are also hard to comprehend.
