ODE

The weather service promised a slightly overcast morning and sun in the afternoon but thunderclouds wanted tio change all to something more exciting. 
A gentle drizzle went on in the morning while I was looking for songs to play at an extra music-job i got on Saturday, during a Burkina-Faso day, because the invited musician got pneumonia and can't play. Then my old partner C called to visit over a cup of coffee, a friend of hers died and she is singing at the funeral tomorrow. Nice to talk about what our lives looks like nowadays, we parted nearly ten years ago so there sas a lot to talk about. By then the drizzle had gone into real thunder, close by too and proper rain.
The evening was spent in town, listening to amazing musicians forming the trio ODE playing their own music in a folk-tradition way. I love their music and their way of playing, here is a home-concert from 2023. The thunder and rain had now turned into sun, enlightening the evening.
