Mentee

Office day today. Bumped into Y, a colleague who I had last seen at the planting day (work event). She mentioned that she was busy so was I. So, I didn’t speak to her for a long time she sat next to me. Her boss, I, also came to the office but sat in another area which was now foreign to me since we switched from there. I said a polite hello to him. They mentioned about lunch but forgot to invite me.

I had a call with Ethan during lunch time. He has just finished his studies at Oxford and is upset with his results. He wants to get a job soon and be independent. We had some discussions about his CV. I hope he is able to get it to a good shape in sometime.

Post call, I went for my lunch and bumped into Y and I again. Who again made a farce suggestion to go for walk, nothing received in the end.

Colleague Y also mentioned that T from my team might be leaving. This was one news that I didn’t anticipate. So, the news of him leaving definitely bothered me.

Coming back home, I didn’t feel like doing anything. I have to get the cycle repaired, lingering thoughts.
