Gooseberries

Expecting showers around midday we started early picking the gooseberries. We worked hard until around 10.30, in fine weather.

There are still some left, smallish ones that might plump up a little if the weather is favourable, but we have around 6kg so far. Much of that will be given to family then taken to the church and to our next Keep In Touch meeting for donations to the current church project. 

And the rain? It waited until around 7pm.
