Something Very Old
When I hurried to the meeting point to collect Teba after her vacation with her youth group, I came along the Villa Haselburg.
It is really something very old. There you find the remains of a Romain villa, build approximately 130 AD.
There is no English Wikipedia about it, so I let google translate a bit of its history:
"Settlements from the time before the Roman occupation are not known in the area around Haselburg, but Neolithic and Celtic people must have lived in the neighboring valleys, as a Corded Ware skeleton grave and several Iron Age burials were found in the Haselburg area. One of the latter was a barrow that was dismantled by the Romans before they built the Jupiter sanctuary right next to it. The hill was therefore known and could have been of interest to the Romans because of the presence of clay, lime and mica. A building for commercial purposes could have been built there in the early 2nd century, followed by a representative manor house with a bath, portico and Jupiter sanctuary..." (* source)
