Sunset

The sky had varying shades of pinks as the sun started to set, then it changed to the reds and orange hues. I really need to trim those tree seedlings that have been allowed to grow on the lower bank. They will soon block the view.
We bounced from job to job today, getting several small jobs done. I have had fun shopping for plants for one of the ones we did today, the client wanted a white garden, it has been a dream of hers for several years, and now she has one. I still need to get a couple of boxwood to go in the garden, so she will have something green there in the winter. One plant I had bought for her garden I couldn't use it. The tag said it was a white liatris, but it decided to bloom today, and it is purple. I will have to call the nursery to see if I can bring it back and get a white one.

Tonight I went to visit a friend at her apartment. The first time I have been to her place. She has been to my place several times. We have been talking about going to Cape Breton for a weekend. The travel/social group is planning to go the first weekend of October. They are staying for 3 nights, but K and I only want to stay for 2 nights. Hopefully when the organizer talks to the hotel, they will let us stay there for the 2 nights at the same rate as the rest of the group.
