My Mom’s Clivia Plant

When mom passed away just about two years ago, I was the recipient of most of her houseplants, including this Clivia miniata. I haven’t repotted it (yet) although it’s in desperate need of it. I moved it outside for the summer and today I discovered that it’s blooming! Hi mom!

Today I went to see the doc who administers spinal epidurals. Sadly my spine is a bit of a mess so we’re scheduling the injections as soon as the insurance approves them. He’s also sending me to the neurosurgeon, who did the three previous surgeries on my spine. The injections are simply a way to manage the pain. The surgery theoretically will fix it. Egads. I’m trying not to think about it.
