Very nice day

What a very nice day. 

I ran a meeting and it went well and good things will happen as a result. Then all the rest of my meetings for the day were cancelled, hooray. 

Ukraine destroyed Russia’s last railway ferry. The ferry was transporting military equipment. They hit it with a drone. The Russians use ferries because they often close the Kerch bridge down 

There was another article after the re-invasion about Ukrainians catfishing Russian men online. A group called the Monetary Army formed in 2020. Now though it has 100 people. They are defrauding Russian men and using the money to help fund the war. They invite the guys to a fake event that they’ve set up on a fake website. The event requires tickets. They buy two. Then the scammer tells them they can’t make it. “Considering they bombed a lot, it didn’t hurt my conscience.”

US restrictions imposed in June put local banks in countries that trade with Russia at a higher risk of secondary penalties, disrupting payments to and from places like China and Turkey. It has become a key problem for Russian businesses.
