Seizing the moment
Out for an early walk, my cut-through into the field was guarded by a young muntjac nibbling on foliage. It dashed off and I was treated to a view of the sun rising through the trees as I crunched my way across the footpath strewn with recently cut straw.
I circled the field at a leisurely pace, stopping for a practice with my jumping rope (much, much more practice needed) before heading home for work.
I worked through to the late afternoon before meeting up with Yvonne for a swim. When we arrived the water was already high and the little bit of pebbled beach and the water was buzzing with activity.
It was quite choppy in the water and I didn't do a whole lot of swimming. I was out of the water before Yvonne and I did enjoy watching two of the Thames barges heading back to the Quay, the windsurfers the kayak and the paddleboard with canine passenger (alongside the barge) in this photo.
I got blipped too
