Layers……and Local History

This is a view from the top of the stopbank along the boundary of the Taylor River Reserve. It is looking to the northwest. The distant mountains are part of the Richmond Range. Mount Riley is the higher peak on the right. This afternoon I attended a function to farewell the CEO of the Marlborough District Council who is retiring. I attended as a former Councillor/ Mayor. Five Mayors, one present and four past, were lined up and photographed for the record. . That showed the length of time the CEO spent working for our Council.
