John Bull Chophouse

A Grade II listed building, set back from the Market Square on the cobbles of Coopers Row.
This pub, with a reputation for for fine ales, live music and the best juke box in the county, started life as a stable block and dwelling.
Visited last night in the company of six former schoolmates of over 56 years standing, and we still remember sneaking in here as underage drinkers!
