What are these called?

To be clear: I know at least two names for them: I'm trying to find out regional variations, and I'm avoiding giving the names I know as I don't want to bias anyone who comments. I'm particularly interested if you're from Dorset or Wiltshire.

What they are is wheat, harvested with a binder, which will be used for thatching straw.
