Breakfast...?

"What've you got there, bro? Is it edible? It is tasty? Most of all, is it mine?"

This pair of juvenile blackbirds were entirely cool with me standing close to them as they rifled through the debris under the back garden hedge. They'll learn... or they'll encounter next door's cat... survival of the timidest.. ;-)

Otherwise, a very quiet day. Mostly overcast and occasionally damp, and not very inspiring. Best to stay in with a book, or spend hours pouring over web sites looking at garden hoses... No, of course not me.

Life... it's for the birds.
