A rather splendid gate ......

..... created and sculpted by Alan Faulds who lives in Lower Largo. This is only one of many incredible carvings dotted throughout the village.

Alan carves and paints oak or lime figurative sculptures and he also makes small boats from driftwood.

I couldn't resist popping into the village while on my journey back through to Fife.
