Tucked away for safety.

Just spotted this pillar box this morning. Unfortunately the protective hoarding around it doesn’t seem to have stopped the local paint spray artists, nor have the weeds been put off. Not sure how much mail will be posted there nowadays anyway. 

Just noticed that it is “VR” too, so, if pillar boxes could talk it would have a few tales to tell!

It’s hanging on in there though, and still in use, so not strictly speaking “derelict”.
