YET ANOTHER BEE PICTURE

Gotta take advantage of the bee presence while the flowers are so attractive to them.  Like the hair on a man's head flowers do not last forever.  This worker is intent on gleaning all the nectar she can get from every flower on this composite head of a coneflower.

It's amazing how such a gentle insect causes so many humans to leave the area in fear.  Trust me...you can get within inches of them for photographs...they are not at all interested in you as a shooter.  Nectar is much more attractive to them.

Now.....if you were to go their hive and whack it with a stick...that will get their attention.  It's also a violation of my First Law:  If you don't want it...don't ask for it!
