History came alive

Tonight was the final rehearsal of The Drama Tour of Lauritsala Township. 2,5 hours street theatre around streets of Lauritsala based to real stories collected from 40 local habitants from 1932 to 1966. Since 1st of January 1967 Lauritsala township was combined to Lappeenranta. About 40 volunteers are envolved to this project, which is produced by Lauritsala Society. There will be all in all eight shows on next two weekends and at the moment over 200 tickets sold, so it seems to be success once again. Let's hope weather is fine on all those days.
