An empty plinth

At the care home, which is an old mansion, I often look out of the window at this empty plinth and think who would be a suitable subject to fill it. It awaits a good statue. Today I wondered if they would consider John Mayall, the pioneer blues musician , who died this week. He was born locally in Macclesfield. Probably not.
