Over The Sea To Mull
We've been mulling (pun intended) over campervan life, I mean everybody's doing it? Just even the thought of it is exciting us, so we decided to try it out for a few days to see how Arlo gets on. So off we headed to Loch Lomond to pick it up then off to Oban and the ferry to Mull. We've been there once for a daytrip, but it deserves more of our attention?
We weren't sure of the dog situation on the ferry, so we left him in the car... after disembarking and letting him out, we think he didn't enjoy the experience as he didn't want to go back in... so note that for the return journey.
We took him a walk at Duart Castle where we could see our ferry going back to Oban and about to pass the Lismore Lighthouse. The castle is going through a big restoration and looks very impressive. Arriving at Port nan Gael we worked out how to setup now we had more time, went for a walk, then went to the next door inn for dinner.
Arlo keeps looking at us like he's asking if we're going home yet, but it's looking promising for him. We're supposed to be sleeping on the roof, I said the roof, we could sleep downstairs but there's less space... oh, there are no stairs. Let's see how we get on then, wish us luck!
